Holidaymakers were condemned for causing too much noise and waking up a baby - on an island known for its debauchery and all night parties.

Bryan Checo and his pals recently visited the party island of Ibiza wheres megaclubs, house music and incredibly expensive drinks draw in visitors from across the world.

The 26-year-old, from Miami, Florida, shared pictures of his holiday, including a trip to Amnesia, a venue he described as "the best club (he'd) been to".

It wasn't all fun and beach parties for Bryan however, who received a complaint about how much fun he was having and noise he was making.

"You are the most selfish people, waking up a two-year-old. Nasty, selfish and absolutely no manners or respect. Drugged up sl*gs," the note, which he shared on Twitter, read.

In the post Bryan questioned: "Who brings a two-year-old to Ibiza?"

The tweet, which has been liked more than 20,000 times, inspired a range of response, including those who questioned why a tot was staying on a party island.

"To be fair the selfish people in this scenario are the people who went to Ibiza despite having a 2-year-old," one wrote.

Another added: "A toddler on party island before me is absurd."

Many pointed out that, despite its reputation for mad benders and beach raves, Ibiza also has another, much more family friendly side.

One person reminisced on the time they'd spent on the Spanish island as a child, claiming their "parents took me to Ibiza when I was three and I'm pretty sure they took me to a foam party in my pram".

Another chimed in: "Contrary to popular belief, there are family friendly places away from the party strips."

A third wrote: "Went to Ibiza a few years back with my then 6-month-old and 7-year-old, stayed in San An Bay and was ace, certain parts are good for families."

If you do have kids and fancy taking them to the Balearic Island, then there are loads of great places away from the party scene where you'll feel welcomed.
