Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd delighted fans when she shared candid footage of himself and his family enjoying a staycation in the English countryside.

The 35-year-old dad-of-two has been staying at Ribblesdale Park which is part of the Gisburne Park Estate in Lancashire.

Jack - who has played David Platt on Corrie since the year 2000 - shares two children, a 14-year-old daughter named Nyla and a 10-year-old son named Reuben, with his ex-fiancée, Lauren Shippey.

Taking to Instagram as the week came to a close, Jack shared a number of videos from his family trip - which looked very wholesome indeed.

Sharing footage of his kids pushing each other on a swing under a huge tree, he wrote: “Every moment in my life is a movie reference, I’m constantly finding them, My girl.”

“Kids love this one too.”

He added: “Found this swing right next to where we are staying at @ribblesdalepark. Boom.”

Fans of the soap star were warmed by the cute family moment, with one writing: “I don’t know where this is but it’s beautiful.”

And another gushed over the wholesome clip, simply writing: “Love this.”

It wasn’t the only moment from the trip that Jack shared online - as he also uploaded footage of himself trying to encourage some curious cows away from his sports car.

Footage showed a couple of curious bovidae beasts sniffing around the vehicle while Jack and his daughter looked on.

The camera panned to show the pet dog of his girlfriend Hanni Treweek standing nearby, with Jack ordering the chihuahua: “Baby, you go in” - with the dog obediently then scurrying off.

Jack could then be heard explaining that he feared the cows could smell some food he had in one of his cars, and he ordered the animals to “bugger off” while clicking at them.

The clip amused his followers, with many commenting on the magical moment - and one writing: “Clicking fingers to mooooove cows thats a new one.”
