Djokovic appears all but unbeatable

Djokovic made history at the recent French Open when he secured his in straight sets.

Djokovic, to win a fifth straight Wimbledon, has been in fine form throughout the tournament and is the standout candidate to take the honours once again at SW19.

The world number one is on the hunt for a calendar clean sweep of all four Grand Slams, having already triumphed at the Australian Open and then in Paris.

Djokovic has won three out of four Grand Slams on three previous occasions, in 2011, 2015 and 2021, and will be determined to stay on course for what would be a crowning achievement in his already history-making career.

Alcaraz showing his class at SW19

A changing of the guard in the men's game has long been forecast but is yet to fully materialise, with Spaniard the most likely contender to become the next big thing.

The 20-year-old claimed the title last year and also became world number one, before dropping back to number two in the current list and is to go all the way at SW19.

Alcaraz will have to overcome the mental hurdle of having been found wanting when losing in four sets to Djokovic in the semi-finals of the French Open, while 12 months ago he made it to round four at Wimbledon before going down in four sets to Jannik Sinner.

Alcaraz had a relatively comfortable route through to the fourth round in 2023, but certainly stepped up a level in his quarter-final win over Matteo Berrettini and was hugely impressive in his dispatching of Holger Rune to reach a first Wimbledon semi-final.

Medvedev aims for maiden Wimbledon crown

Former US Open champion is to win Wimbledon and has reached the last four at SW19 for the first time in his career.

Sinner continues to make big challenge

Italian Jannik Sinner is to be crowned Wimbledon champion and has produced a string of impressive performances to drop just two sets on the way to a place in the semi-finals.
