Kathy Griffin has slammed male comics, branding them "pigs" while claiming she has seen "all their penises".

As one of the most well-known female comediennes in America, the 62 year old has reflected on the early days of her career in the nineties, admitting that she has seen everything regarding her male peers' behaviour.

"I've been at every party back in the day when they'd be like, 'Kat, Look! My penis is a wristwatch. I'm like, 'Yes, I get it. We've seen it again," she explained.

While ensuring not to name names, Kathy bluntly added: "Guy comics are pigs. They're all pigs. I've been around a long time. I've seen all their penises."

Kathy went on to explain that it was common at parties in the nineties for male comedians to expose themselves and engage in further inappropriate behaviour.

"That was like a big joke in my day where one of the guys would grab you and pretend like he was like, butt f***ing you. And it happened to all of us," she added to Page Six.

The Suddenly Susan star used current comedian Pete Davidson's ability to swoon some of the most stunning women in Hollywood as to why male comics don't behave appropriately.

Speaking of the male comics, who she said are "not conventionally attractive", they "lose their minds" when they bag a woman "that is too hot for them."

Despite the criticism, Kathy noted that the Saturday Night Live star was "talented" and her feelings toward him were "from pure bitterness" because she currently doesn't have representation.

It has been a difficult few years for Kathy career-wise and especially in her professional life after she was diagnosed with stage 1 lung cancer.

However, at the end of 2021, she was officially cancer free following surgery on her lung.

She offered insight into the procedure to remove part of her lung at the time, joked on The Jimmy Kimmel Show that her doctor told her it would look like a "used condom", and said she could use that line in her stand-up comedy routine.

"Here's the thing, when you're a comic, it's horrible when the doctors want to do their material on you," she joked. "So I go in, and he's describing how they take half your lung out, and he goes, 'It's kind of like a balloon.

So we do it laparoscopically, and we poke it.' And then he goes, 'And when we take it out, it kind of looks like a used condom.' And then he goes, 'You can use that.' And I just did – and insurance covered it..."
