The best Amazon Prime Day smartphone deals
With the incredible pace of advancements in mobile phones, it's become a very competitive market with the tech giants like Apple, Samsung and Google all vying for your attention but you can benefit from this and make some fantastic savings.
It's day 2 of Prime Day, Amazon's yearly deal extravaganza where you'll see fantastic discounts that can help you ditch the laggy outdated brick in your pocket and allow you to upgrade to and sleek, shiny supercomputer of a smartphone that'll make you wish you'd bought a new one sooner.

2. HONOR Magic4 Pro
Best for photography
(Honor)This is one of my favourite phones from last year and yes while it is a slightly older model because it's a flagship it's still a powerhouse and a viable choice for a phone in 2023.
The sleek 6.81-inch Quad-Curved OLED display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a sharp screen was amazing for photos films and of course, games.
The older snapdragon CPU in this is still one of the more powerful processors available and will not have any issues with standard use, photography, video and gaming.
The camera was one of my favourite features offering a 50MP main as well as a 65MP zoom which came in handy. It was also surprisingly good in low lighting and with minimal noise and without trashing the image quality.

3. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4
Best Deal
(Samsung)The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is a fantastic phone that features a folding clamshell design. It's not just style over substance it packs a powerful Snapdragon CPU and when coupled with that dynamic 120Hz screen you've got a great gaming phone.
It's incredibly portable due to its folding design and it's also great for taking self-portraits and candid photography and of course, folding it away in your pocket.
It also features a smaller, customisable cover display that can show your calendar, set recording, read your messages and even reply without even opening the phone.
Did I mention that a steal this is, I've looked at getting one in the past and the price usually sits around £1000 and in my experience, it really is the best folding phone on the market

(Apple)I'm not much of an iPhone user, to be honest, but I can't deny they have gotten their devices down to an art form. The iPhone 14 Plus is part of the latest fleet of Apple smartphones offering their best phones so far.
With its 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display anything you watch will look simply gorgeous and thanks to its A15 Bionic chip it's a performance powerhouse too.
It offers superb battery life outlasting both the iPhone 14 and the 14 Pro Max. It combines the features of the premium Pro models but for a slightly more affordable price.

Well build with decent performance, a vibrant 6.5" 120 Hz display and a great camera the Nothing Phone (1) ticks all the boxes to be a serious contender to Samsung and Apple.
It features a clean and minimal OS that makes it fast and easy to use with no bloatware or rubbish preinstalled.
