Arsenal fans are starting to grow impatient as they await the official announcements for both Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber.

Both players are thought to have all but wrapped up their respective deals with the Gunners and yet there is still no word on when either Rice or Timber will be unveiled as Arsenal stars. Ever since the transfer window opened, there has been a plethora of reports insisting boss Mikel Arteta wanted both players to take part in the club's pre-season tour of the United States.

The Gunners jet out to the other side of the pond this coming Sunday, July 16, meaning it is all but certain the duo will be announced as the two latest additions at the Emirates before then.

With that being said, Mirror Football has analysed some of the other transfer talking points surrounding Arsenal on Wednesday, July 12.

Rice uploaded a picture to Instagram for the first time this month on Tuesday night - and within minutes, the snap was liked by Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz.

The 24-year-old can be seen completing various workouts in the pictures and has tagged 'The Campus', believed to be a training base in Portugal. The fact that both Saka and Havertz liked the picture within minutes of it being set live seems to suggest Rice's move to Arsenal is imminent.

Some could argue the fact that Rice and Saka are also England colleagues means it is nothing more than a friendly like, but Havertz also engaging with the picture feels like a clear sign the two will soon be team-mates at the Emirates.

The Gunners have a whole host of young talent that could one day become regulars in the first-team, but Mirror Football has identified one standout candidate.

18-year-old centre-back Reuell Walters is already known to Mikel Arteta because he made the first-team substitutes’ bench on a few occasions last season.

Walters, who made serious cash on Fortnite, isn’t attracting the kind of attention that 16-year-olds Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly are currently, but he is better placed to break through this season.

Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke is gearing up to launch his latest project in the form of a new stadium for his MLS team the Colorado Rapids.

The Rapids have had a season to forget so far as they currently languish rock bottom of the MLS Western Conference, adrift of LA Galaxy by five points. However, Kroenke appears determined to bring success back to the Pids with a major stadium revamp in the works.

Their current stadium, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, is owned by Commerce City, but the sports and entertainment tycoon does own a 269-acre plot of land which surrounds the 18,000 capacity ground. Front Office Sports, claim that Kroenke is looking to obtain 88 acres via a swap deal which he plans to strike with the city, as well as a county water plant.

His vision for this latest development in his portfolio is to redevelop the land to bring commercial value to the area with new shops, bars, and restaurants. With that being said, Commerce City is standing firm and value the land at $50 million (£38.7 million), with the Gunners owner Kroenke currently only looking to offer to trade 9.7 acres of his land.

Arsenal fans will just be hoping this doesn't impact their transfer fund.
