Beauty fans are raving over a clay face mask that has been dubbed a 'life saver' and 'feels amazing' when used, and it's currently on sale. Hey Bud's Clay Mask has managed to build up quite a bit of attention and it claims to reduce acne, scarring and blackheads while boosting the skins natural glow.

The five-star rated product also is said to fade dark spots and hyperpigmentation to give a more even skin tone and regulate oils in the skin. It's suitable for all skin types and ages.

Kaolin is the stand out ingredient for cleansing skin and controlling excess oil production in the skin, it shows up time and time in clay masks across the market but Hey Bud pairs it with avocado oil to reduce inflammation and redness in the skin while also moisturising it.

Green Tea is used to combat any free radicals while reducing excess sebum reduction which in turn reduces acne. To keep the skin feeling moisturised Hey Bud uses Hemp Seed Oil which is naturally high in essential fatty acids to replenish hydration.

Here at the Mirror we tried it out after a skin breakout and were pleasantly surprised by the results. Jada Jones wrote: "The application was really smooth with the brush, I didn't particularly notice a scent but it went on really easily. There was a little tingling at first but I have sensitive skin so I find this is often the case.

"It felt quite relaxing, elevating my evening to a pamper session with just one product. Normally I would expect a clay based product to dry out my skin, and there was a little dryness around my T-zone, but for the most part my face was left moisturised and feeling clean. It's a shame it's only to be used twice a week as I already want to get my hands back on it."

It's not just us that like the product, there are nearly 3,000 reviews and the vast majority of them are five stars. Hundreds of people have shared before and after pictures of their skin after using the face mask on the brand's website.

One shopper penned: "It was a lifesaver for me! I absolutely loved this face mask as I’m not the type to have a prolonged skincare routine but it has it all in one product. It really did leave my skin smooth, glowy, and my blackheads were barely visible after one application!"

A second wrote: "The mask is amazing. It creates a cooling effect which feeling amazing. It cleanses the pores well. This is definitely a mask I'll be using often!"

A third said: "It was easy to apply, little product goes a long way. It was completely dry after only about 10 minutes and didn’t smudge coming off! Their mask was so easy to use and left my face feeling SO smooth! I’m so in love with the Hemp Clay Mask, and love how kind their customer service is!!"

One reviewer complained that there skin was dry afterwards, which we also found to be the case, but this is easily fixed by continuing with your evening skincare routine after your pamper session.

There are other Kaolin Clay masks on the market, such as Face Theory's £18 Green Tea Face Mask MK2 and Highborn London's £36 Natural Element Clay Mask, however Hey Bud's offer twice as much product and offer additional savings when buying a double pack.

You can buy Hey Bud's massively popular Clay Mask here for £27 and all orders of the product at the minute come with a free brush to aid application.
