Flintstones fans can now travel back to the Stone Age and spend a magical night in the home of the iconic cave-family.

The three-bedroom cabin, inspired by the 1960 cartoon, is an exact replica of Fred and Wilma’s home that was beamed into living rooms across the world for decade.

Outside of the house the powered-by-running Flintmobile is stored, perfect for pretending you're rolling through the streets of 4,000 B.C.

Accommodating up to eight people, Pebble Cottage comes complete with a dining room, living room, fireplace, two bathrooms, and even a terrace.

It extends over over two levels and is like stepping straight into the TV show, re-creating the set of the 1994 live-action of The Flintstones, starring John Goodman and Elizabeth Taylor as Fred and Wilma.

Outside there is a working grill, letting guests throw huge BBQs and pretend they're tucking into a spot of dinosaur steak, and gatherings around the fireplace.

Located in Maxamitla, Jalisco, in Mexico, the house is perfectly situated for visiting local attractions, such as the La Zanja Gardens, the El Salto waterfall, and many other local amenities.

It costs between $4,000 (£3,150) for two nights between Monday-Thursday, or $5,000 (£3,930) for two nights over the weekend.

To reserve the home you have to call 33 3498 6497.

If cosplaying as a caveman or woman isn't quite up your street, but you do fancy immersing yourself in a fictional world for a weekend, then a stay in Barbie's real-life Dreamhouse may be the answer.

A life-size version of the iconic pink abode has been put up for hire on Airbnb to coincide with the release of the new film starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.

Fans can book two one-night stays in the Malibu home for two guests on July 21 and July 22. The Dreamhouse is surrounded by beaches, offering "stunning and photogenic" views of the coastline.

"Placed perfectly above the beach with panoramic views, this life-size toy pink mansion is a dream come true," the listing reads.

Those staying in the mansion will be able to "live it up Ken-style for a neon night in Barbie Land" and can explore his collection of cowboy items and rollerblades.

They will also be able to explore "Ken's awesome wardrobe to find their best beach fit."

Fans will even be able to "channel your inner cowboy" by learning to dance on an outdoor disco dance floor, or by performing a serenade with Ken's guitar.

Photos of another Barbie home that is even harder to secure a stay at have recently been published, and the likeness to the classic Dreamhouse toy has been noted.

The real-life Barbie Dreamhouse isn't short of any pink decorations and comes complete with walk-in closets, a bright pink slide that finishes inside a pool, and a heart-shaped bed with glittery pink bedsheets.

Photos of the Dreamhouse - which was built at the Warner Bros Studios in London for the film - were published in Architectural Digest alongside interviews with director Greta Gerwig, designer Sarah Greenwood, and set decorator Katie Spencer.

The Dreamhouse also has no walls, apart from structural ones, and is open on one side to mimic the way that the iconic toy was also open to allow it to be played with.

In their interview with Architectural Digest, Sarah Greenwood and Katie Spencer explained that they bought a real Barbie Dreamhouse from Amazon in order to study the scale of the home in preparation for building their own model, and said they found the scale "quite strange".
