A recently married couple has sparked a heated debate online after the bride shared a video of her surprise dance for her groom on their wedding day. The dance has left viewers cringing and questioning whether the bride took it too far.
The TikTok video was posted by Mandolin Carbo and features the bride, Taylor Maynard, who goes by the name @mistaybaybay online. In the clip, the bride can be seen performing a special dance for her husband during their reception.
For the dance, the bride changed out of her wedding dress and sported a more casual look with white trainers, white shorts, and a mesh white top that revealed her white underwear. She also wore a visible white garter on her right leg, following the tradition.
To the tune of Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love," the bride performed a "sexy" style dance that involved shaking her butt and rolling on the floor. Her husband watched from his wheelchair while guests gathered around the outskirts of the dance floor.
The bride's personalized dance routine seemed to have involved a lot of practice, as she executed the moves seamlessly.

At the end of the performance, she placed her right foot on the side of her husband's wheelchair, and he removed the garter from her leg before they shared a kiss.
The video quickly gained traction, amassing over 500,000 views online. Viewers expressed their varied opinions, with some feeling awkward and cringing at the dance.
One user likened it to a middle school talent show, while another commented that such a dance should be reserved for the honeymoon rather than in front of family and friends.
