Debbie Harry was eager to get her "phone songs out of the way" as Blondie headlined at Glastonbury Festival on Sunday.

The band performed on the Pyramid Stage this weekend and delighted fans when they played the iconic hit One Way Or Another.

Bringing the energy to the crowd minutes after their arrival, they moved on to play Call Me.

After performing Call Me, Debbie, 77, told the crowd that she and the band were trying to get the "phone songs out of the way" at the beginning of their set.

Addressing the audience, she said: "Good afternoon, good evening, good day, good night.

"Hello, thank you, it’s very nice to be here, I hope you’re all having a lovely time. We had to get those phone songs out of the way because none of it is relevant today, we all have our phones in our pockets."

Blondie also performed Will Anything Happen, Atomic, and The Tide Is High during their incredible set.

The group previously performed at Glastonbury in 1999 and then in 2014.

Speaking of her experiences at the festival, she told the crowd: "We’ve got a long track record with you guys so thank you very much for that."

Debbie recently shared her secrets to looking so youthful and admitted having a facelift was for "business reasons".

She has been open about her anti-ageing treatments over the years and even said having cosmetic surgery is similar to having a flu jab.

Debbie admitted getting older has been “hard” on her features, and the focus on her beauty throughout her music career has left her frustrated, so she’s had to maintain her looks as she gets older.

“I think it's the same as having a flu shot basically, another way of looking after yourself,” she wrote in her memoir Face It.

“If it makes you feel better and look better and work better, that's what it's all about,” she added.

“Getting older is hard on your looks. Like everybody else, I have good days and bad days and those, ‘S***, I hope nobody sees me today’ days,” she quipped.
