Myles Stephenson holds back tears as he shares sign his baby suffered a stroke
X Factor winner Myles Stephenson, who won the competition as one member of Rak-Su, joined Steph's Packed Lunch to reveal the moment he realised his son was having a stroke.
The singer and I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star opened up on the heartbreaking impact of his baby son’s cerebral palsy diagnosis.
Myles told host Steph McGovern how he and his partner Keli first discovered their baby son's condition as he revealed he was "welling up" recalling the moment.
He explained: “We didn’t notice anything after the birth or during the pregnancy and it was up to about six months when we both of our parents, who are nurses, said ‘Shiloh is clenching his fists’.
“As first time parents we didn’t expect anything, because all I’ve known is that babies aren’t in control of their limbs, and we decided to go to a GP and get a little check up and see what was going on and then we got referred. And many, many months later we got the diagnosis of hemiplegic cerebral palsy.

Myles opened on his son's heartbreaking diagnosis (Channel 4)“We got told he’d had a stroke and that there is brain damage on the left side of his brain and you get shown the pictures, it hit home because you can see the damage.
“For a long time since I found out, and since we've been going through this process, I've been dealing with demons just because that's your son, that's your child.
“As much as I would love to take it all away and it be on me I can't do anything about it. So there was a lot of processing and a lot of re-finding ourselves and kind of re-evaluating.”
The X Factor winner revealed how he's using his degree in sport science and physiotherapy to treat Shiloh, who is now two-years-old.
He said: “I was noticing that his muscles were really tight, his calf muscles really tight and his forearm wasn't rotating properly."
Myles explained "little things" that we "all take for granted" like picking an object up are hard for his son to deal with at first.
“The NHS have been unbelievable since diagnosis and just before that as well and we've had a very strong support our family," he added.
