The Jonas Brothers sent fans wild over the weekend as they took to the stage at Capital's Summertime Ball and joked around with one of their most iconic pranks.

The musicians have become famous for their song Burnin' Up, which they cheekily play around with whenever they perform live.

The song features a line about a "red dress" and fans have noticed how Nick Jonas rarely sings the part, despite singing it on the record.

Instead, the 30-year-old usually points the mic to the audience for fans to shout along, or skips to the next part of the song.

During their Wembley Stadium performance on Sunday, the Jonas Brothers did not disappoint as they treated fans to the infamous song.

Fans of the singers quickly took to Twitter to share their delight at the performance, with one person writing: "Jonasbrothers set was something else."

Someone else said: "Everyone going on about Niall doing Story of my life which don't get me wrong was amazing but I'm still losing my s**t over @jonasbrothers doing Burnin Up."

"I was NOT expecting it one bit. What a pleasant surprise," a third fan wrote as they shared a picture from the concert.

Nick has previously opened up about why he tends not to sing the "red dress" line and said he realised he could barely be heard when fans screamed the lyrics.

He noticed it happening at most Jonas Brothers concerts and so made the decision not to sing the now-famous lyrics.

The Jonas Brothers previously performed at the Summertime Ball back in 2019, but this was the band's first time back in four yeats.

Also at the Capital Summertime Ball was the iconic singer Kylie Minogue, former One Direction star Niall Horan and singer-songwriter Tom Grennan.

Niall was spotted catching up with the Jonas Brothers backstage before they stepped out to perform.
