Better Call Saul actor Paul Geoffrey has tragically died from cancer, it has been revealed.

The 68-year-old actor passed away earlier this month according to an obituary published in the Santa Fe New Mexican, with it revealed that he passed away on seven days ago on June 3.

The obituary states: "Paul passed away from cancer on June 3 and is survived by his wife Sue Taylor and three children, Alex, Oliver, and Daisy."

Paul played the part of a tailor in the TV series Better Call Saul, with him seen fitting lead character Jimmy McGill, played by Bob Odenkirk, for a suit.

Although Paul was known for starring alongside Bob in the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul, Paul's most popular acting credit was Excalibur, a 1981 fantasy film.

In the film he starred alongside the likes of Helen Mirren and Nicol Williamson, Patrick Stewart and Liam Neeson.

The actor's obituary also states that he was born and raised in England, "where he lived his dream of being an actor and was known for his portrayal of Percival in Excalibur".

It also touches on how he moved to Santa Fe in the early 1990s "where he and his wife created a world of love and care for their young family".

His obituary concluded: "He worked with Santa Fe Properties for many years and established himself as a genuine and kind community member.

"A thespian to the core, Paul continued to act for the remainder of his life.

"He loved French wine and food, had a stunning grasp of history, was a life-long Arsenal fan, and excelled at being the sweetest guy in the world."

As well as starring in Excalibur and Better Call Saul, he also starred in Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Anna Karenina, Wuthering Heights, Poirot, and Inspector Morse.

His last reported role was in an episode of the Epix series Perpetual Grace in 2019.
