Summer Game Fest 2023 Opening Showcase round up – everything announced
Summer Game Fest 2023 Opening Showcase took place last night and featured two hours of game announcements including new looks at upcoming content for Warzone 2, Crash Team Rumble and Exoprimal.
We already knew about titles like Mortal Kombat 1 and Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 would be appearing at Summer Game Fest 2023 Opening Showcase going into the show, but even then Geoff Keighley managed to pull off a bunch of surprise announcements.
Highlights included the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth trailer, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 release date and the announcement of a brand new 2D co-op Sonic the Hedgehog game releasing this year. The excitement was so much that even Atlus got in on the action by leaking the Persona 3 remake shortly after the show!
