When does the new Valorant season start Episode 7 Act 1 and battle pass release
Valorant's next season is almost upon us, with Valorant Episode 6 Act 3 coming to an end later this month. Here's when you can expect to jump into the next Episode of Valorant.
Valorant Episode 6 Act 3 is coming to an end; the latest season brought us the debut of the Valorant Premier ranked mode – which launched into beta alongside the launch of the Episode 6 Act 3. But now it's time to look forward to what's next for the game, with a new season set to launch at the end of the month.
The next season will likely be called Valorant Episode 7 Act 1, based on the game's previous seasonal naming structure – in which every Episode has lasted for three Acts. Since the current Valorant season is Valorant Episode 6 Act 3, it's safe to assume the next season will be Valorant Episode 7 Act 1. However, we won't know for sure until Riot Games officially announces it – who knows maybe this is the season it decides to extend an Episode to a fourth Act.
When does the next season of Valorant start?
According to a date in-game, the Valorant Episode 6 Act 3 Battle Pass will come to an end on Monday, June 26. Since Valorant typically updates on a Tuesday, we can expect that the next season of Valorant will begin on on Tuesday, June 27. This new season will last for approximately two-to-three months based on previous seasons of the game.
Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 Battle Pass
Like previous Valorant Battle Passes you can expect that the Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 Battle Pass will launch alongside the new season and will run you 1000 VP (the cheapest VP bundle that gets you at least 1000 VP is £9 / $9.99 / AU$14.99 which gets you 1050 VP / 1000 VP / 1025 VP respectively).

Unlike the battle pass in other titles like Fortnite and Warzone 2 which allow you to earn enough of its premium currency to unlock the next battle pass, Valorant doesn't offer VP in its battle pass, so you'll need to pay for it each season.
As for what's going to be in the Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 Battle Pass, we won't know until it's revealed by Riot Games (which will presumably coincide with the start of Episode 7 Act 1 on Tuesday, June 27).
