Nick Cannon gives update on Jamie Foxx's health scare after frightening ordeal
Nick Cannon has provided an update on how Jamie Foxx is dealing with health scare, with the Masked Singer US host speaking candidly on Extra TV.
American actor Jamie, 55, is said to have experienced a "medical complication" while working on his upcoming Netflix film, Back In Action.
In April it was revealed that Jamie had experienced the "medical complication" and was hospitalised for the unknown health scare, leaving fans worried and concerned for the beloved star.
At the start of May Jamie's family revealed that he was no longer in hospital, with not much more revealed about his health since.
And now Jamie's friend Nick has spoken of his pal with him admitting that the actor will update fans about his health "when he's ready".
Nick Cannon teases he 'might' have more kids as he admits letting 'God decide'Speaking to Extra TV, Nick said: "One thing I’ve always respected about how Jamie’s moved throughout his entire career, if you’ve noticed, he’s always been somebody who is extremely professional and extremely private."
He went on: "I mean, you don’t ever really hear anything other than just the great work that he puts forth as a professional and the fact that, you know, he’s handled this situation with the same manner, you only can respect that.
"I believe when he’s ready, he’s going to address the awaiting fans in the world [about his health scare] the way that only he can."
Nick was then asked about the mystery health condition Jamie suffered, with him asked if he had suffered a stroke.
Keeping the reason behind Jamie's hospital admission under wraps, Nick said: "I’m probably in the same boat as you in that same sense of just knowing that, you know, as a friend, just being as respectful as I can, I don’t pry."
He then added: "I don’t ask any other questions. And other than the information that’s given to me and, you know, what’s asked of me."
On May 12, Jamie's daughter Corinne gave an update on her dad's health when she took to Instagram to say: "My dad has has been out of the hospital for weeks recuperating.
"In fact, he was playing pickelball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support."
