Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Ultimate Pass: price, characters, costumes, release date
Street Fighter 6 – like any fighting game in the modern era – will have DLC characters on the way to extend the games lifespan for years to come.
Street Fighter 6 is upon us, and like Street Fighter 5 before it Capcom has confirmed that DLC will be on the way. The DLC is split into two passes; first is the Year 1 Character Pass: which includes all four of the DLC characters being released over the next year. Then there's the Year 1 Ultimate Pass – which includes all four DLC characters and two extra bonus costumes for each of them, as well as two new stages.
Each of the four characters will be playable offline and online in Fighting Ground and Battle Hub, as well as being added to the World Tour story mode so you can learn their moves as your avatar. Street Fighter 6 also has rental tokens available in game so you can test out each DLC character to see if they fit your playstyle.

Why Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's six week delay is a good thingThe Street Fighter 6 Standard Edition is £54.99 / $59.99/ AU$99.94, while the Deluxe Edition is £79.99 / $84.99 / AU$137.96 and the Ultimate Edition is £99.99 / $104.99 / AU$169.95.
Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Ultimate Pass Characters
The Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Character Pass and Year 1 Ultimate Pass will include the following characters:
- Rashid (Street Fighter 5)
- A.K.I. (Newcomer)
Ed (Street Fighter 5)
- Akuma (Street Fighter 2)
Rashid was the main character of Street Fighter 5 and harnesses the power of the wind for battle. Ed on the other hand was one of the game's villains and acts as Balrog's boxing protégé. He's also imbued with M.Bison's Psycho Power for good measure.
Meanwhile, not much is known about newcomer A.K.I., however from the leaked roster that appeared online last year we know she hails from China. And of course Street Fighter 2 hidden boss character Akuma once again is relegated to DLC status.
Capcom has also confirmed these characters will also show up in World Tour mode once they're available.
Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Ultimate Pass Stages
The Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Ultimate Pass comes with two additional stages. However, Capcom has given no hints as to what these stages might entail.
We can only assume one if not both of these stages may be linked to the DLC fighters (such as a Shadaloo-themed stage for Ed or a stage set in China for A.K.I.) but that's pure speculation on our part. We'll update you once these stages are revealed
Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Ultimate Pass Outfits
The Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Ulitmate Pass includes two additional costumes for each of the four DLC fighters: Outfit 2 and Outfit 3. Based on the Street Fighter 6 Outfit 2 trailer we can assume Outfit 2 for Rashid, Ed, and Akuma will be based on their appearances in their debut titles.
However, there's no clues as to what A.K.I.'s Outfit 2 or anyone's Outfit 3 will be – we'll update you as soon as we know.
Overwatch 2 season 3 patch notes reveal new maps and full tank hero overhaulThe pass also comes with colours 1-10 for each character and costume, while the Year 1 Character pass only comes with 1-10 for their default costume as the extra costumes are not available in that version of the Year 1 Pass.
Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Ultimate Pass release date
