Street Fighter 6 preload
The Street Fighter 6 preload is available now, just head onto your platform of choice and you should have the option to preload it by going to the game in your library.
Of course, this only applies to digital editions, unfortunately, you'll need to wait for the install and the day one patch to download before you can start playing if you pre-ordered the game physically.

Street Fighter 6 is set to release at 12am on June 2 in every region, so in other words June 2 at 12am BST / 12am EDT / 12 PDT.
Xbox players who have pre-ordered the game digitally will likely be able to set their location to New Zealand and start playing at 1pm BST / 8am EDT / 5am PDT on June 1 if they just can't bear to wait.
Street Fighter 6 file size
Street Fighter 6's file size is variable, the game allows you to download all three sections of the game separately. The initial download includes the Battle Hub mode, with Fighting Ground and World Tour available as separate downloads.
The Steam page for the game lists the game as requiring 60GB of storage while the Xbox store page lists it at approximately 41.73 GB
We played the game on PS5 where the overall file size on PS5 is 52.95GB with Fighting Ground making up 4.26GB of that and World Tour sitting at 18.17GB, leaving 30.52GB dedicated to the rest of the game.
Street Fighter 6 PC requirements
Capcom has released the system requirements for Street Fighter 6 on PC. The minimum specs required are as follows:
- OS: Windows 10 (64 bit)
- CPU: Intel Core i5-7500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200
- Memory: 8GB
- VRAM: 4GB or higher
- GPU: GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 60GB
Meanwhile, the recommended system specs for Street Fighter 6 on PC are as follows:
