Shirt worn by Pele when he scored final goal for Brazil could fetch £150,000
An iconic number 10 shirt worn by Pele, perhaps the most brilliant player of the beautiful game, is up for auction for £150,000.
In July 1971, the three-time World Cup winner pulled on the jersey in Sao Paulo and in the 34th minute scored for Brazil in a 1-1 friendly with Austria.
It was his 77th and final goal for his nation and came a week before his international farewell, a 2-2 draw against Yugoslavia.
The legendary player, who scored on his Brazil debut at 16, went on to become a global ambassador for the game.
The world mourned when he died, aged 82, in December.

Other Pele shirts, medals, trophies and awards, with estimated prices from £500 to £15,000, are in Tuesday and Wednesday’s memorabilia auction.
Other highlights include the 2022 World Cup final official match ball, expected to fetch £160,000-£200,000.
The international cap and shirt given to Neil Webb for becoming England’s 1,000th player will be auctioned. Medals belonging to Huddersfield Town legend Tom Wilson will also be sold.
