Link has a secret ability in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that isn't given to him during the tutorial like the main four are, here's where you can find it.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is all about player creativity because, after all, building loads of weird and wonderful contraptions to help Link save Hyrule brings new depth to the Legend of Zelda franchise. However, it can get a bit rough having to rebuild that perfect car. Lucky for you, Link has a hidden ability that allows you to automatically build anything you've made at a moments notice.

The Autobuild ability will allow you to remake any Ultrahand creation you've crafted at the click of the button. If you have the materials for it there, it will assemble it using those. However, the most useful feature it has is that it can also assemble them from nothing using Zonaite, so if you need to get out of a tough scrap at a moments notice, you're in luck.

How to get Autobuild in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

First off, you'll need to have played enough of the main questline to get the Paraglider so that you can access The Depths. After that you'll have to talk to Josha at Lookout Landing and complete the quest titled A Mystery in The Depths; this mission will give you the camera, and serves as your introduction to The Depths.

You'll finish that mission nearby the Iayusus Lightroot fast travel point. From here, you're going to want to to head south (follow the direction the statues are facing). Be sure to bring plenty of Brightbloom Seeds with you to light the way. You can also find this area by dropping down the Great Plateau North Chasm (near the starting area of Zelda: Breath of the Wild).

Eventually you'll come across an area called "Great Abandoned Central Mine" with a fast travel spot there ready to be activated. You'll find two NPC's next to the Zonai Hand icon that activates the fast travel point.

Once you activate that fast travel point the Autobuild ability is all yours, good job. There is something else to do here, but you don't need to do it to get the ability. Spoilers for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ahead

The two people nearby will ask for a demonstration of your new ability, and once you show it off they will reveal themselves to be members of the Yiga Clan (the group of banana loving ninjas who would harass you in Zelda: Breath of the Wild).

Afterwards, Yiga Clan master Kohga ambushes you and you're thrust into a boss fight with him. The fight is fairly simple, Kohga will race towards you in a makeshift steamroller, you'll simply have to dodge him, shoot and arrow at him and jump on his vehicle and wail on him with a weapon. You might not want to take him on, however, if you're short of arrows or weapons.

Either way, the Autobuild ability is now yours. If you go back to Lookout Landing Josha should have another mission for you which requires the use of Autobuild. Otherwise, have fun remaking your best contraptions at a moments notice.
