Arnold Schwarzenegger made a cheeky remark about his sex life during a recent interview, as he promoted his latest docuseries that's set to be released next month.

The actor, 75, is the subject of the upcoming three-part series Arnold on Netflix in which the former bodybuilder and former politician will "tell his own life story".

He is set to speak candidly about various aspects of his life and career in the project, which was teased by a trailer from the streaming platform earlier this month.

The Terminator star has already been giving some insights into his life and personality in interviews though, including him making a playful remark about his sex life recently.

As reported by the Daily Mail, when asked for his euphemism for sex, he joked in an interview with Men's Health : "Why would you use a code word? At my age, sex is becoming a four-letter word. 'Help!'"

Arnold's personal life has attracted much attention over the years, particularly his past marriage to Maria Shriver. He's currently said to have been dating Heather Milligan since 2013.

During his recent interview with the outlet, Arnold shared his workout routine and teased that he now trains to "stay alive" so that he can continue to work.

Prior to his acting career, Arnold received acclaim as a bodybuilder. He's said to have won Mr. Universe championships in four consecutive years starting in 1967.

Now asked if he still does bodybuilding poses decades after retiring from the industry, he remarked: "Yes, but only in the bathroom [...] because sometimes it makes me cry."

His career is just one of the topics that are set to be discussed in the upcoming three-part series Arnold, which will be released through Netflix next month on June 7.

He told the outlet that he's previously declined the opportunity to appear in similar projects, but said he's realised people are "inspired" by his story and he hopes to "inspire millions of people to find their vision" by sharing his own success.

The project has been described by the streaming platform as an "intimate docuseries" that follows the actor's "multifaceted life and career" from bodybuilder to politician.

Teasing the show recently, Netflix said that Arnold – whose acting credits also include films like Predator (1987) and Total Recall (1990) – will act as the "orator of his own story".

It further teased: "[He] provides audiences with context and insight into three key chapters of his life: Arnold as an athlete, Arnold as an actor and Arnold as an American."

The upcoming docuseries will be released next month following the launch of Arnold's new action series FUBAR, which will be released on Netflix on Thursday (May 25).
