Get rich quick in Tears of the Kingdom with this material duplication glitch
Quickly and easily duplicate any item in Link’s inventory with this handy glitch that’s been discovered following the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom 1.1.1 update.
For as great a game as Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is, there’s one area where this latest adventure can be incredibly stingy: rupees. It’s not like the old days where you could find them hiding under every rock and grassroot. No, this Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel makes you work for your money. Only it actually doesn’t necessarily, because a new glitch has been discovered as part of Tears of the Kingdom update 1.1.1 that lets you duplicate any material in Link’s inventory – precious stones included.
Players have already discovered one Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom update glitch that sits separately to this one, capable of letting you copy almost any weapon, shield or Zonai device (excluding the Master Sword). This new method unfortunately won’t let you duplicate weapons and shields, but materials are firmly on the table. Better yet, it's a far quicker and less involved process.
From materials like Diamonds and Rubies that can be sold for money or monster materials handy for fusing to Link’s weapons or use within elixirs, the success rate for this material glitch is extremely high. Aiding proceedings is that fact that not too much is asked of you at all, and you won’t need to reload any saves or regularly spam your Nintendo Switch console’s start button.
