Escape To The Chateau stars Dick and Angel Strawbridge have paused the services they provide at their famous home - amid reports they clashed with producers of their Channel 4 show.

The reality star couple have been married since 2015 and together they share two children - while 63-year-old Dick has two other kids from a previous marriage.

Since 2016, Dick and his 45-year-old wife have appeared on their Channel 4 show which followed them as they renovated a 19th-century, 45-bedroom Château de la Motte-Husson in Martigné-sur-Mayenne, France,

But the series has come to an abrupt halt amid reports suggesting Dick and Angel were difficult to work with behind the scenes - but it seems they are still not bringing in revenue with their home via more traditional channels.

The TV couple threw open the doors to their extravagant homes for a series of services - including a £38,000 wedding service.

However, their website states: “We are currently on a two-year weddings 'catch-up’, we will reopen enquiries as soon as we can!”

Other services available at the mansion include a Chateau Under the Stars experience which costs £350 per night and a £75 Working Garden Day.

However, both of these services are also unavailable, with a statement on their website warning: “Unfortunately our events at The Chateau are currently unavailable whilst we play catch-up! Keep checking back for more details.”

Earlier this month, Channel 4 sensationally cut ties with the Strawbridges despite Escape to the Chateau being hugely popular with viewers.

A representative for Channel 4 told the Mirror: “Following a review we have taken the decision to not work with Dick and Angel on any new productions in the future."

Two Rivers Media confirmed to Mirror that they also have cut ties and will no longer be working with the couple.

A spokesperson said: "We can confirm that we will no longer work with Dick and Angel and cannot comment further at the moment.”

Dick and Angel, however, seemed unfazed when they made their first social media posts days later to share a clip of their children Arthur and Dorothy hanging out outside the chateau.

They wrote alongside the video: “Last weekend we went for a Spring walk around the grounds…it’s nature at its best, and there was something for everyone to be excited about! Simple and beautiful.”

The nature of the allegations and the subsequent investigation has not been confirmed but reports suggest the Strawbridges clashed with producers.

A source previously told Deadline: “There has been a deteriorating relationship between Two Rivers and Dick and Angel’s Chateau TV for various reasons and it all came to a head.”

After Two Rivers Media decided against working with the couple, Channel 4 launched an investigation into the situation, which was carried out by an independent HR professional.
