Ex-Playboy model says Trump affair was love but she moved on with Bruce Willis
An ex-Playboy model who claims to have had a 10-month affair with former US president Donald Trump says he loved her, but she went on to dump him and date action movie superstar Bruce Willis.
Karen McDougal claims the affair with Trump happened back in 2006, though the businessman has denied many stories of affairs.
Karen's story was bought by a newspaper for almost $150,000 (£120,500) back then, similar to Stormy Daniels', and then buried in the run up to the 2016 presidential election.
But in a new interview on Friday, speaking to the Daily Mail, Karen, 52, insisted her relationship with Trump was real and loving.
Speaking about his denial of affairs, she points out that while his people may have denied their affair, he never has.

Trump was said to have never denied it (Getty Images)"A reporter asked him: 'Did you have an affair with Karen McDougal?' and all he said was: 'I've done nothing wrong.' He knows I'm telling the truth," she said.
While the former president has been surrounded with rumours of various affairs, romantic interests, and sexual exploits, Karen insists that their 10-month affair was no casual thing.
She said that, despite Trump being married, they were in love. "I was in love with him. He was in love with me," she told the newspaper.
"I know that because he told me all the time. He'd say 'You're my baby and I love you'. He showed me off to his friends."
She goes on to talk about the light she was painted in - as a disgruntled former lover. However, she insists that he was the one to end things with him.

But this wasn't just any Bruce she found in the bar that night, it was Die-Hard actor Bruce Willis. The pair were even pictured holding hands on holiday in Italy just a few months later in 2007, and they went on to date for six months.
Karen claims she never cheated on Trump, who was married at the time, but would talk on the phone to Willis often and the actor was single and treated her well. This made it easier to end things with the billionaire.
In 2006, when the affair is said to have taken place, Trump was star of the US reality TV show Celebrity Apprentice. He attended a pool party at the Playboy manion in Los Angeles, which was hosted by Hugh Hefner for the show's contestants.

She claims Trump followed her around "like a puppy dog, trying to get my attention."
Trump was said to have been so taken by Karen that the Playboy 'Bunny Mother', charged with looking after the women, remarked how he seemed to 'really have a thing' for her.
Trump told his bodyguard Keith Schiller to get Karen's number as she was leaving and saying goodbye.
He then called her days later and invited her to dinner at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

But at the time she was a young woman, "having fun and not thinking about things too deeply" and Trump's wife was out of sight, out of mind.
She said the pair met five or six times a month after that first meeting. Eventually, she decided to end things with Trump.
She said it happened over the phone, and she used her mum not liking them being together as an excuse - and Trump was not happy.
She told the Mail: "He doesn't like being rejected but he didn't try to persuade me to come back. The phone call ended on bad terms."
17 years from their first meeting at a Playboy pool party, Karen looks back at the affair which she said changed her life.
She claims to have lost work and friends as a result, and has seen her name smeared as an extortionist and gold-digger, which she is adamant she is not.
But she says she feels stronger and has grown from the experience, and is now a much different woman.
