Priscilla Presley asked to be buried next to ex-husband Elvis Presley when she dies as she finally settled her bitter feud with Riley Keough over Lisa Marie's estate.

It's reported that the 77-year-old wanted something that is more precious to her than money in the agreement - a resting place next to her former lover and father of her late daughter.

The King of rock n roll died on August 16, 1977, at the age of 42 and is buried on the grounds of his former home Graceland.

However, it's said Priscilla's request was firmly denied by granddaughter Riley Keough's representatives and it's thought she backed down without putting up a huge fight.

Priscilla shared the lavish property with her former hubby during their marriage between 1967 and 1973.

Instead, she's reportedly walked away with a large sum of money, with TMZ saying it's "in the millions".

Lawyers for Priscilla and Riley - who is currently starring in the hit Prime TV series Daisy Jones and the Six - announced on Wednesday the pair had "reached a settlement."

"The parties would like to report that they’ve reached a settlement," Ronson Shamoun, Priscilla's attorney, told Judge Lynn Scaduto at a court hearing in Los Angeles.

Outside the court, the lawyer added: "They have reached a settlement. Families are happy. Everyone is happy. Unified and together and excited for the future."

Lisa Marie, who died in January at the age of 54, was the couple's only child. She had an apparent cardiac arrest at her California home before later passing in hospital.

Shortly after Lisa Marie's death, her mum disputed a 2016 amendment to her daughter's will which stated that Lisa Marie removed her mother and former business manager, Barry Siegel, as co-trustees.

However, despite the legal battles, Priscilla insists her family are "stronger than ever".

In a statement after the settlement was approved by court officials, the she wanted to clarify that there was "never any lawsuit filed against her beloved granddaughter."

"My family has resolved all confusion as it relates to our plea to the court and request for document interpretation after my daughter Lisa Marie's untimely passing," she told People Magazine.

"Although some media identified such a plea as a lawsuit, I want to make clear that there was never any lawsuit filed against my beloved granddaughter."

She continued: " As a family, we are pleased that we resolved this together. My family and I hope that everyone will grant us the privacy we have needed to properly grieve Lisa Marie and spend personal time together," Priscilla added.

"We love and appreciate all of you and the Presley family is stronger than ever."
