Michelle Heaton will be returning to her musical roots next month, as she reunites with two of her Liberty X bandmates for a very special performance.

The former Dancing On Ice star, 43, and Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young will be dusting off their latex catsuits and headlining a major charity fundraiser in Manchester, with fashionista Gok Won set to DJ at the star-studded bash.

Liberty X achieved ten consecutive UK Top 20 singles before disbanding in 2007, after the group was formed using the five contestants who failed to make it into Hear'Say on reality TV show Popstars in 2001.

The group, which originally also included Tony Lundon and Kevin Simm, reunited for ITV2 documentary series The Big Reunion in 2013, but have performed as a trio since 2017.

Last year, Just A Little singer Michelle admitted she was terrified to perform sober with her Liberty X bandmates, after battling alcohol and addiction issues.

Speaking about her first gig since receiving treatment, Michelle said in 2022: "When we first started performing as a band in our early days, we had a couple of drinks at every gig. It gave us confidence.

"So, I was a bit apprehensive of how I’d feel singing and dancing without having had a couple of drinks down me.

"But I ended up having the time of my life during our first live show. Every single performance since then has got easier and easier," she added when speaking to OK! magazine.

Michelle, Jessica and Kelli will be providing the entertainment at Manchester's swanky Hilton Hotel on 29 June, when famous faces will come out in force for the Sedulo Foundation Ball.

The star-studded bash will raise money for youth organisations in the region as well as charitable projects aiming to increase the life chances of young people facing disadvantages.

The BRIT-Award winning You Might Need Somebody songstress Shola Ama is also set to perform a medley of her hit music.

Meanwhile, some of the biggest celebrity names from the north-west are set to attend the event including Coronation Street actress Sally Lindsay who will play host for the night.

Other Corrie cast members including Samia Longchambon and Tina O'Brien are also set to attend, as is Hollyoaks actor Kieron Richardson.

The Sedulo Foundation is the charitable arm of Sedulo Group which is one of the UK's leading financial advisory companies. The Sedulo Foundation has already helped over 25,000 young people through projects to provide back to school essentials as well as working to end period poverty by providing sanitary products.

The business also leads an annual Christmas Toy Appeal from its offices throughout the country.

Speaking ahead of the event, Paul Cheetham-Karcz, founder of Sedulo and the Sedulo Foundation, said: "This year’s gala in Manchester is going to be epic. We’ve pulled in some of the biggest names in media and entertainment to give people a night to remember while raising important funds.”

"By helping disadvantaged children and young people in these regions, I believe we can inspire the talent of tomorrow to fulfil their potential and aim higher.

"I am proud of the work already achieved by the Sedulo Foundation and our gala dinner will help us reach even more young people in the long-term."
