Becky Hill has opened up about her fears and concerns about her future career - and her private life - as she prepares to unleash her second album.

The 29-year-old chart topping star has been in the music game for over a decade after appearing on season one of The Voice way back in 2012.

It was then nine long years before her debut album, Only Honest on the Weekend, was released while she has released a string of impressive singles and collaborations over the past 11 years.

Now Becky - who scooped scooped the Best Dance Act at the Brit Awards the past two years running - fears about her music future as the planets seem to be aligning for her after all this time.

And she says holding her breath about her music career is also drawing something of a cloud over her relationship with long-term boyfriend Charlie Gardner, who proposed to her last year.

She explained: “I’ve been so anxious about releasing this new music because there’s a level of, like, ‘This has to f***ing work’.

“I’m 30 next year. I’m trying to plan a life with my fiancé. We’ve put everything on hold for the moment because I need to see what happens and where work goes. I’m hoping it will just go up and up and up and my plan for world domination goes incredibly well.”

Becky went on to explain that she has been rattled in the music industry by the fact that she has seen so many people come and go from the business.

And she went on to explain that she feels she wouldn’t be able to go back to working job that is less in the spotlight, declaring: “If I didn’t have music in my life, I wouldn’t have a lot else.”

Back in February, Becky confessed to the Mirror that she was sweating for a very different reason - she feared she had inadvertently let down women in music with her acceptance speech.

Fresh from her Brit Awards win, the star said: “I feel like I f***ed it right up.

“I want to check Twitter to see what people I’ve never met before’s opinions are on it. It’s a lot.

“I’ve just had one of those days today where nothing was going right and I was sat at the tables and I thought ‘I’ve got this one I’ve got a feeling’ which is weird because I have the best feelings in the world so I don’t know why I doubted them.”

She continued: “We're the first female resident in Ibiza and there aren't any female residents anywhere and it's a real big shame. And I think, you know, this is this is bigger than me and I think that this is a really good step forward.
