Andy Whyment has made some shocking claims since his I'm a Celebrity...South Africa exit scenes aired last night.

The Coronation Street legend, 42, departed camp alongside Georgia Toffolo on the ITV show last night and has wasted no time spilling the beans about his second stint in the jungle.

Andy, best known for playing Kirk Sutherland on the cobbled streets of Weatherfield, claimed fellow camper Janice Dickinson "abused" I'm A Celebrity hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

The soap star said he wasn't impressed with Janice's "rude" behaviour and mused how the former supermodel ran a reign of terror over all the famous faces in camp.

Andy explained how he is a "normal down to earth guy" and said he can't stand it when people are ill-mannered and blasted Janice for forgetting her manners in the jungle.

"When Ant and Dec came in early doors she [Janice] was talking about what they were wearing and saying ‘you look terrible’ and it’s like, these are the hosts of the show," the actor said.

"These are massive stars in the UK and you’re just blatantly abusing them on national television.

"I know Janice is a really, really famous person whereas I’m just Kirk from Corrie but manners cost nothing."

Speaking to The Sun, Andy went on to recall camping alongside Caitlyn Jenner during his first appearance on the ITV reality TV show in 2019 – and praised the "massive star" for not being "rude like Janice".

The long-time soap star went on to ponder if Janice was perhaps acting up for the cameras and recalled his on-screen clashes with the model.

Speaking with ITV after leaving camp, Andy admitted he found camping in South Africa much harder than his venture Down Under.

"I’ve got to be honest, I found it tougher than I did in Australia," he confessed.

"Simply for the reason that I went into a different camp to start with for two nights. It took me and Myleene four hours to do the fire on the first night – it was a nightmare!

"We knew it was long, we thought about two and a half hours, but when we went to do the Trial the next day, Ant and Dec said it was actually four hours. You can imagine how we were both feeling. That’s an I’m A Celebrity record! Then Myleene beat me in the Trial so it was rice and beans for me with Shaun and Tuffers [Phil]."

He added: "Just after I arrived and I finally made it into main camp, Ant and Dec came in and said to me, Phil and Shaun – you’re doing a Trial, you’ve got to pick someone to do it with and whoever loses is going home.

"So you automatically feel great that you’re joining the camp but then you think, ‘I’ve got to pick someone and if I lose, their journey is up as well’. I thought, ‘I’ve only been here for two days – what’s going on here?’

"I picked Jordan and we ended up winning that Trial and stayed in camp so that was good! In Australia you get the public vote so that gives you a bit of a lift. Obviously you don’t get that in this series and the days felt so much longer in South Africa. Plus Ant and Dec kept popping into camp and dropping bombshells all the time!"
