Paloma Faith shared a seemingly cryptic post on social media and later made an apparent statement with her fashion ahead of performing at the Coronation Concert.

The singer-songwriter, 41, was among the performers who took to the stage at Windsor Castle tonight to celebrate King Charles III's Coronation that took place yesterday.

Ahead of the concert, she had taken to Instagram to share photos from the grounds of the venue in London whilst seemingly exploring the estate with some of her pals.

This included posting a photo that seemed to show flowers among some weeds. She didn't provide any context, simply writing in the cryptic post: "Windsor Castle weeds".

Paloma later appeared to make a statement backstage at the event, with her having been photographed wearing an outfit that featured the phrase "climate" on the front.

She spoke about the outfit whilst being interviewed by radio host Dermot O'Leary, 49, backstage at Windsor Castle as part of his coverage for BBC Radio 2 earlier this evening.

After being asked how she was feeling about being at the concert, Paloma told him: "Excited. I feel privileged to be here. I've come here for sort of two specific reasons."

The Brit Award winner went to share her reasons for attending, telling Dermot earlier: "One is that I think the work that King Charles does on climate is really important."

"As you can see I'm sporting a 'climate' t-shirt because the late Vivienne Westwood was also actually a big fan of his, who sadly passed away," she further commented.

Paloma added that the outfit is "one of her archive pieces," with the singer-songwriter further commented: "I think it's an important homage to [King Charles III's] work."

She then gave her second reason, saying: "When I was a kid raised in Hackney, I was awarded a Prince's Trust grant. So I feel like yeah it's all part of kind of saying 'thank you'."

Later in the evening, Paloma took to the stage at Windsor Castle for the concert, where she performed her song Lullaby. During her performance, footage from elsewhere in the UK showed light displays and celebrations this evening.

Following the performance, fashion designer Stella McCartney gave a monologue about the environment, before others performers like Katy Perry took to the stage.
