Bill Nighy clarifies Anna Wintour rumour as Olivia Wilde teases film about pair
Bill Nighy has spoken out about the relationship rumours surrounding him and Vogue editor Anna Wintour, which comes as Olivia Wilde teases a movie about the "romance".
Setting the record straight after appearing at the 2023 Met Gala arm-in-arm with Anna Wintour, the actor, 73, has denied any romance and relationship speculation.
Stepping out at the infamous gala on Monday, May 1, speculation soon became rife with fans convinced that the British actor, who is known for starring in About Time and Living, and fashion icon Anna were an item.
Many people presumed their joint appearance at the world-famous fashion event was them confirming their romance.
But it has now emerged that the pair have been "great friends" for a long time and are "not" in a relationship.

Anna and Bill have enjoyed a close bond for several years, with the pair being spotted having a meal together in Rome back in August 2021.
When the pair were spotted enjoying dinner together, relationship rumours began to spiral, with the Met Gala 2023 causing the rumours to come to a head.
But even though the pair are said to be just friends, this hasn't stopped a film maker from eyeing up the perfect opportunity to document the "romance" in a feature-length movie.
This comes as actress and film maker Olivia Wilde hinted at making a film about the Bill and Anna's "romance".
Olivia, who dated Harry Styles from 2021 until 2022, took to her Instagram page after attending the Met Gala on Monday, with her teasing a romantic movie.
Sharing a snap of Anna linked onto Bill, the Don't Worry Darling director wrote: "Scrapping all other projects to make this movie instead."
