Tens of thousands of British wrestling fans have snapped up tickets for the biggest show in London for more than three decades, as All Elite Wrestling comes to the UK for the first time.

Fulham FC owner Tony Khan's wrestling promotion, which airs on ITV and via AEW+ on Fite.tv in the UK, had long been hinting at a show this side of the Atlantic, with industry watchers assuming Craven Cottage would play host to the long-awaited event.

But instead AEW is, literally, going All In with an epic stadium show to take place at Wembley on Sunday, August 27.

Anticipation is already high for the show, with a host of big names both from AEW's existing roster and elsewhere already hinting at their involvement.

Meanwhile, with CM Punk mooted to be heading back to the promotion we could see a Summer of Punk here in the UK.

The first tickets went on sale this morning to more than 45,000 fans who had been given special single-use codes they had got for pre-registering their interest.

But fans who missed their chance to bag a seat at the historic venue for the event have plenty of other opportunities before the general sale kicks off on May 5.

These are the all-important dates and times fans need between now and Friday:

Pre-Registration Presale

When: Live now until Thursday, May 4 at 8am

Where:Ticketmaster

Only available to the 45,000 people who signed up via Ticketmaster. All emails were sent out on Friday afternoon so fans should have their one-time use code already - if you can't find yours check your spam or junk email folders.

O2 Priority presale

AEW Partners Presale

When: From 9am on Thursday, May 4 to 8am on Friday, May 5

Where:Ticketmaster

AEW has not released details of who they're partnering with for this presale so this one's a bit of a mystery. It's worth keeping an eye on Twitter for any organisations offering special codes for access over the next few days.

Ticketmaster Presale

When: From 9am on Thursday, May 4 to 8am on Friday, May 5

Where:Ticketmaster

Our understanding is that this Ticketmaster pre-sale does not need the pre-registration that today's does and is available to everyone already registered with the ticketing giant.

Live Nation Presale

When: From 9am on Thursday, May 4 to 8am on Friday, May 5

Where:Live Nation

Separate to the Ticketmaster sales, sister site Live Nation is also getting in on the fun. If you're not pre-registered with them yet the link is still live, click here for more info, including how to register for access.

General Onsale

When: Friday, May 5 from 9am

Where:Ticketmaster and Live Nation

At this point all remaining sales for the 90,000 capacity venue will go on sale. If you've missed out on your preferred spot before now this will be your last chance to bag your seat.

In total, more than 90,000 fans are set to descend on London for the August bank holiday weekend, with a host of high profile indie promotions announcing shows around the city at the same time, most notably UK indie powerhouse PROGRESS, who are also hosting an epic double bill with DEFY on the Saturday.

AEW's latest signing, ROH legend turned commentator Nigel McGuinness believes the brand's long-awaited London debut will inspire an entire new generation of talent - and he should know, because thirty years ago he made the decision to begin wrestling himself watching Summerslam '92 in the stands of Wembley Stadium.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, McGuinness said: "I guess the word you'd say is 'epic'. If it's anything like the experience that I had 31 years ago, it's going to meet and exceed expectations.

"Everybody is super excited. Everybody understands the size of the venue, not just in terms of the number of people in there but in terms of the prestige as well. Most of the guys, I don't think, have ever wrestled on that level of a stage. So it's going to be huge for everyone, a monumental, can't miss once-in-a-lifetime experience for everyone involved."

If the initial reaction from British fans, both in terms of tickets bought and social media response which saw #AEWAllIn trending on Twitter as the second most popular topic UK-wide behind the coronation, is anything to go by, there are plenty of wrestling fans who consider it similarly unmissable.
