EastEnders' Ben Mitchell sets out to attack Vinny Panesar amid hidden turmoil
EastEnders airs worrying scenes next week, as Ben Mitchell's secret turmoil leads to him possibly attacking another Walford resident.
He picks a fight with Vinny Panesar before preparing to assault him, in front of horrified Walford residents.
Ben soon realises he has gone too far, as he continues to hide his pain from his loved ones and those on the Square.
But will it be enough to make him seek help, or will he push those closest to him further away?
It comes after the soap confirmed the character was secretly suffering from an eating disorder, with the devastating storyline set to continue onscreen.
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likenessFans have seen Ben visibly struggling recently, from being secretive and going too far in the boxing ring, while he was also shown sneaking off to the toilets.
While fans had feared something was wrong with the character, it was only announced by the soap last week that he had an eating disorder.
Ben had confessed to husband Callum that he wasn't coping with recent events, especially with the mother of his child, Lola Pearce, sadly facing a terminal illness.
However, Ben failed to disclose the length of his struggles, and has acted as though he is fine since.
Lola recently revealed to Ben and their daughter Lexi that she had just months to live, amid her brain tumour battle.
This news amongst other things has sent Ben over the edge, and while he has hidden this from everyone it looks set to boil over in upcoming episodes.
Next week things get too much for Ben, after the discovery that his rapist Lewis has struck again.
After he breaks down while on his own at The Arches, he later forgets to pick up his daughter from school and doesn't realise until he turns up at a party.
Lola and her partner Jay are furious with Ben and make that clear, so Ben begins drinking heavily and soon he picks a fight with Vinny.
As fists are about to fly, Lola screams at Ben to stop and he realises he's gone too far - but will he open up about his secret turmoil?
