Ben Goldsmith spoke to daughter, 15, through a medium after she died in accident
Ben Goldsmith has revealed how he took hallucinogenic drugs and met with a medium to see his daughter who was killed in a quad bike accident.
Iris Annabel Goldsmith, 15, was riding a quad bike on the family's farm in Somerset when disaster struck in July 2019.
The 15-year-old's quad bike lost its balance and overturned, pinning her to the ground. Her friend called 999 but by the time Mr Goldsmith arrived, Iris had died.
Mr Goldsmith and his ex-wife Kate Rothschild were left devastated by the death of their daughter.
Shortly after the crash, he said: "Dear God, please can I have my beautiful, brilliant, kind little girl back, please God.

"It hurts me so much I can’t describe."
Since Iris' death Mr Goldsmith has written a book 'God Is an Octopus' , about his journey through grief.
He says he took a South American brewed hallucinogenic drug which allowed him to see his daughter once more.
He told the Sunday Times: "My body heaved and shook as tears sheeted down my face. I felt so lucky to have known this girl for the time that I did.
"I yearned to reach out and grab her, to hold her tightly to me now, but there was no way of doing so."
As he explored his grief, a meeting with a medium uncovered Iris' final moments.
He said the medium told him: "The last thing she remembers is being very winded and then a rising panic."
