LL Cool J announces first tour in 30 years with string of special guests

LL Cool J has announced his first arena tour in 30 years.

The rapper, 55, took to Twitter share the exciting news as he confirmed he will be joined by some "legendary" artists such as The Roots and DJ Jazzy Jeff.

In a video shared on social media, the musician can be seen walking backstage through an arena as a voice over tries to fill his head with doubts.

"You haven't been on an arena tour in 30 years, you really think you ready? You think somebody's really going to pay to see you?," the voice questioned.

A crowd could then be heard cheering as the voiceover asked: "You sure you ready for this?"

LL Cool J, whose real name is James Todd Smith, replied: "I'm ready."

Alongside the video, the rapper wrote: "This is not a moment, it's a movement.

"For my first Arena tour in 30 years, I am bringing you THE F.O.R.C.E. (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy.) @theroots, @ztrip & @djjazzyjeff215 will join me in the ultimate Hip-Hop mash-up with a legendary non-stop continuous set!

"We hit the stage on 6.25 in Boston, MA and will make our way to Los Angeles, CA on 9.3. Tickets on presale now. Link in bio."

Fans went wild for the announcement, with one person commenting: "Can't wait for the Atlanta show."

"YESSSS!! So excited!!" another wrote, while a third tweeted: "I've been waiting my entire adulthood for a tour! LETS GO!"

Another fan begged: "World wide please, worldwide please. GOAT."

It hasn't been announced which acts will be performing in which cities, but the guests include Salt-N-Pepa, Queen Latifah, Method Man, Ice-T, Juvenile,De La Soul, Goodie Mob, Jadakiss and more.

The tour will kick off in Boston on June 25 and finish in Los Angeles on September 3.
