Paloma Faith has reportedly joined the stars performing at the King's Coronation next month.

The 41-year-old singer will reportedly be joining Katy Perry and Take That in the special live performance on May 7 at Windsor Castle.

The BBC said Take That's performance will feature three of the original members, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen.

Other stars performing on the evening also include Lionel Richie, soul pianist Alexis Ffrench and singer Freya Ridings.

Paloma is said to be singing for King Charles III and Camilla as well as a huge crowd of 20,000 members of the public and invited guests.

She is known for her hits Only Love Can Hurt Like This, Picking Up The Pieces and Never Tear Us Apart.

An insider told The Sun : “Paloma is really excited. She is buzzing with creative ideas.”

Mirror have contacted her representatives for comment.

Paloma is the latest singer to have joined the lineup of artists performing the special event.

After Take That was announced as one of the performers, the group shared their excitement with fans.

The group have performed at many Royal Variety Performances over the years, with Gary also curating the concert outside Buckingham Palace for the late Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012.

The trio said: "This will be our first live show since the Odyssey Tour, four years ago in 2019, and what a stage to come back on.

"A huge live band and orchestra, a choir, military drummers, the backdrop of Windsor Castle and the celebration of a new King. We can't wait."

Katy, regarded as one of the biggest pop stars in the world having produced a string of number-one albums, said she is "excited" to perform at the concert.

The Grammy, Oscar and Golden Globe winner was also appointed The Prince's Trust's first global ambassador and is the chairman of the Global Ambassador Group.

Speaking of the coronation, BBC boss Charlotte Moore said: "We are bringing the nation together for this once-in-a-generation occasion, broadcast exclusively across the BBC live from Windsor Castle.

"We have a world class line-up of performers to look forward to for what promises to be a very special night of celebration and entertainment."
