Levi Davis investigator claims he knows who is behind his mystery disappearance
A private investigator hired to assist in the search of missing Levi Davis has claimed he knows who is behind the former Bath rugby player's disappearance in Spain.
The 24-year-old was last seen on CCTV leaving an Irish pub in Barcelona on October 29 and his passport was later found at the city's port, sparking a theory that he could have drowned.
But Gavin Burrows, whose Line of Inquiry firm is offering a £10,000 reward for information that could lead to Levi being found, claims that he is likely still alive.
The PI told MailOnline that he believes Levi was drugged, groomed and manipulated by an unnamed man over the course of several months and that the same man is likely behind his disappearance.
Burrows claims his team have uncovered a digital recording of their main suspect admitting to putting Levi's pictures on a dating site and accessing his social media as recently as three weeks ago.

In the 15-minute video, which Levi had posted to his Instagram before deleting it, he claimed that he was being blackmailed by criminals threatening to kill him.
Levi started the video by saying: "Hello my name is Levi Davis and my life is in danger," before going on to claim that he had been filmed performing sexual acts after being drugged and that blackmailers were using the footage to control and manipulate him.
He said: "I was told by them in ways which are not direct but are absolutely true that they were going to attempt - if I said anything out - they were going to attempt to kill me, threaten my family."
"And they also were trying to frame me."
Burrows claimed his team had retrieved the Instagram video and released it with the agreement of Levi's family and friends to help get more information.
He now believes that they have identified the person behind Levi's predicament.
The investigator told MailOnline: "Levi was lured to Barcelona on a pretext and was never seen again. Two days after posting his video on social media, he disappeared".
He said that evidence has been turned over to the Spanish police and expects more details of the case to be released in the coming days.

He was then captured on CCTV leaving the Old Irish Pub in La Rambla at 10.05pm and there have been several unconfirmed sightings since, but he has still not been found.
