US tracking 650 UFOs right now as clip shows floating sphere 'seen for years'

As the US confirms it's tracking more than 650 potential UFOs the Pentagon has shared footage of a floating metal sphere which has been "seen for years" in the skies over the Middle East.

A Pentagon official confirmed the tracking of potential UFOs on Wednesday, April 19, in an appearance before a subcommittee of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Sean Kirkpatrick, director of the Defense Department's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, said the sightings are concentrated off both the East and West Coast of the US, as well as the Middle East and part of the South China Sea.

Now, a declassified video recorded by a US Reaper drone has shown a strange spherical object zipping in and out of frame.

US officials will not say exactly where the footage, from July 12, 2022, was shot, beside the general Middle East area. They have also admitted they do not know what the object was or where it came from.

The now-declassified footage was shot from an American MQ-9 Reaper drone, and appears to be monitoring a group of people in a desert.

But just seconds into the footage, a flying orb can be seen hurtling toward the drone, passing underneath at high speed.

The drone's hi-tech camera picks up the movement, switching targets from the group and beginning to follow the strange globe.

The incredible footage was declassified and made public on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

The Pentagon has said there is no credible evidence any of the unidentified objects came from outer space. Though they said a small number of them showed advanced flight characterists, which they indicate could have been developed by China.

An Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) report on sightings of 'Unidentified Aerial Phenomena' (UAP) from 2022 showed the office had tracked a total of 510 sightings since 2005.

The report said there had been 144 UAP reports during the 17 years of UAP reporting from ODNI.

The report went on to say there have been "247 new reports and another 119 that were either since discovered or reported after the preliminary assessment's time period". Creating a total of 510 UAP reports as of August 30, 2022.

The incredible footage from the Middle East was assessed by government officials who are still unable to identify what was captured in the footage.

In a statement obtained by Newsflash, the US Department of Defense said: "In an open hearing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena before the Senate Armed Services Committee on April 19, Dr Sean Kirkpatrick, director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), shared a video that depicts an apparent silver, orb-like object cross the sensor's field of view.

"This clip was taken by an MQ-9 in the Middle East, and while AARO assesses the object in the clip is not exhibiting anomalous behaviour, the object remains unidentieid.
