Dancing On Ice's Colin claims frisky fan asked him to 'drain their bank account'

Dancing on Ice finalists The Vivienne and pro skater Colin Grafton gained an avalanche of fans with their elegant moves.

It was Colin's first time on the show, and he proved very popular with the audience, so popular in fact he was inundated with messages from fans during his time on the ITV competition.

Some messages sent over social media to Colin were so strange he can't say them out loud, the American sportsman has divulged.

Speaking about the direct messages, the former Suits star said: “Some that are just strange and I’ve had to educate myself like: ‘Is this actually a thing?!’”

He told Daily Star: “The one I had the other day was: ‘If I give you all my banking info, can you please drain my bank account and only give me money when I need certain things’.”

Laughing, Colin said he couldn't believe the request was real.

He went on: “Apparently that’s a thing! When they want to spend something, they need permission or something. I honestly don’t know.”

Colin has said he felt honoured to be partnered with drag artist The Vivienne, winner of Ru Paul's Drag Race UK, season one, on Dancing on Ice.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Colin said: "I was beyond excited [to be paired with The Vivienne]. I thought, what an amazing opportunity and it was almost an honour in a way that they were asking.

"You know, hey, this is the first time we want to have a drag queen on the show. I personally love a challenge, and I was like, 'wow, this is such an amazing opportunity to actually make history."

Before landing his Dancing on Ice gig, Colin appeared on the legal drama Suits and recalls fans waiting outside for Meghan Markle, who was starring on the show at the time.

He said: "I think she had just started dating Harry at the time, but she had a lot of fans already like outside that were waiting for her."

Revealing he didn't actually know who Meghan was at the time, Colin added: "I think that was the point she was dating Harry, but it wasn't public knowledge yet."

Colin admitted he landed his role by chance after bumping into Gabriel Macht, who played the lead character Harvey Specter, in the restroom.

After the pair discussed his skating career, he was then introduced to who he believes must have been the director.

Colin said he had initially only signed up to be an extra as he was on vacation and his pal was working on the set all day and confessed he had never actually watched the show.

Without prior knowledge of the show, he knew he would have a chance to impress if he wore a nice suit - and it was a plan that worked.

He described how the director saw him and said: "we need you front and centre in the scene!"
