It seems the Birkenstock trend isn’t going away anytime soon, and as we head into summer, we’re expecting to see plenty of fashion fans sporting the iconic sandals.

Although we’re big lovers of the brand, it’s safe to say they don’t come cheap, so if you’re on a tighter budget, we’ve spotted this £6 pair from Primark that look almost identical to Birkenstock’s Black Madrid sandals which retail for £55.

The budget-friendly slip-on sandals boast a similar single-strap design which can be found on the pricer designer pair, as well as a faux suede footbed and cork detailing on the front of the shoes.

They’re available in a black colourway with a stainless steel buckle which can be tightened for the perfect fit, or you can opt for the eye-catching silver pair which again has an adjustable buckle.

If you’re looking for that extra bit of support, we’ve also spotted these £7 Double Buckle Strap Slides which look just like the Arizona Birkenstocks which can cost more than £100 depending on the style you go for.

With this style from Primark, there’s a larger variety of colours to choose from including black, white, silver, tan, burnt orange and pink, and they’re also available in UK sizes 3 to 8.

If you don't mind spending slightly more, you can pick up these stunning faux leather buckle strap sandals for £10 - and they'll blend in effortlessly with any outfit, whether that be a cute summer dress, or jeans and a nice top.

While they may not hold the same durability of Birkenstocks, if you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable dupe to wear throughout the summer at a fraction of the price, then these are for you.
