Conor Benn's wife endured "disgusting" break-in while home with two-year-old son
Conor Benn's house was broken into whilst his wife Victoria and two-year-old son Eli were at home.
Benn's wife Victoria outlined her frightening ordeal on her YouTube channel, revealing the intruder causing neither of the pair any harm or stealing any belongings from their house. Benn had left the home around 30 minutes before the intruder broke in, which led Victoria to believe the man must have been watching them outside from afar.
Recalling the horrifying situation, she said: "It was about 6:55 on a Sunday evening and I just sat down to eat dinner. I put Eli in the high chair and sat down, then heard a noise coming from the stairs. I thought 'There's no way that could have been a breeze'. I walked out to the hallway and I found a man on the stairs, it was probably the most scariest thing that has ever happened to me.
"I lost it, started screaming and swearing at him to get out of my house. I think it was just fear because I was in my house on my own with the baby. I cannot explain the feeling that took over me, it makes me want to be sick. When you're going towards that noise and then seeing someone in your house."
Victoria realised her phone was charging in her bedroom, meaning she couldn't get help instantly as she didn't want to leave her baby alone in the living room. Victoria eventually turned to her neighbours for help and admitted she was dumbfounded at how the intruder broke in as their home has "really good security".

"You don't know how you're going to react in the situation. I can't explain the feeling and fear that takes over you. The panic that set in was awful when I couldn't find my phone. For anyone who has the audacity to break in when a women is home alone with a child, that is just awful, it's disgusting.
"How horrible it is to know your house broken into. When I'm now home alone without Conor it's not a nice feeling at all and it made me feel very vulnerable. Now I have that fear when I'm home alone with Eli that anything can happen. To go through that was honestly the most scariest moment of my life."
Victoria thanked Essex Police for their help since the break in and admitted they have since added extra security to their home. "I just wanted to share and raise awareness of how these people are breaking in, I'm just so thankful about how it played out. I pray to God these people get caught and can't do it to anyone else," she added.
