Everything you need to know about the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest two Live Semi-Finals including running order and price

Competing artists in this year's Eurovision Song Contest will now know where they stand as the official running order for the live Semi-Final shows has been confirmed.

A total of 31 countries will battle it out to try and bag a place in the Grand Final apart from this year's hosts Ukraine who are automatically put through to the final show. Mae Muller also has a guaranteed seat in the Grand Final as the UK is one of the 'Big Five' countries along with Spain, Italy, Germany and France.

Those who have tickets to one of the Semi-Finals at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool will finally know which countries they get to watch and for those still wanting to get a place in the crowd there are some tickets left to buy but at a high price.

Individual tickets for the nine shows at M&S Bank Arena sold out within minutes of the sale earlier this month, although suite packages for the two Semi-Final shows are still available to buy.

Suite tickets for the May 9 Semi-Final 1 Live Show and the May 11 Semi-Final 2 Live Show are being sold for a staggering £18,000, and for fans who missed out in the general sale, they are the only tickets left to buy as all other options have officially sold out.

The £18,000 price tag includes tickets for 12 people (£1,5000 per person) in a suite (or show box) overlooking the arena. The price includes a private entrance, unlimited food and drink, an official programme and a suite host.

Split into two shows, the first Semi-Final on May 9 and the second Semi-Final on May 11, the 10 acts with the highest vote from each show will make it through. The running order can sometimes have an impact on the acts that make it through to the Grand Final (so they say) depending on how far away each entry is in line with the live vote on the night.

The official order of each of the live Semi-Final shows can be seen in the tweet below, along with the newly confirmed entries for each country.

Norway will kickstart the competition with their entry 'Queen of Kings', alongside Ireland with 'We Are One' and 'Burning Daylight' from The Netherlands.

The first Semi-Final will end with previews from Germany, France and Italy who are all through to the Grand Final regardless of their performance.

The second Semi-Final on Thursday, May 11 will start with Denmark and their entry 'Breaking my Heart' followed by Aremenia second and Romania performing third.

We will get to see a live preview of Mae Muller's UK entry 'I Wrote A Song' at some point during the show, alongside Spain and Ukraine who also have confirmed spots in the live Grand Final.

The full details of the running order can be seen on the official Eurovision Song Contest website.

Transport routes are available to book from London up to Liverpool during the week-long event on both Trainline and National Express.
