Oprah Winfrey visits site of Jesus' baptism in Jordan with pal Gayle King
Oprah Winfrey and her pal Gayle King visited the site of Jesus' baptism in Jordan last week.
The iconic talk show host, 69, shared a series of snaps from her lovely holiday with her 22 million followers on Sunday.
In one photo, Oprah looked delighted posing in front of an archaeological site as she enjoyed a camel ride in Petra.
Another had Oprah and Gayle showing off their pearly whites as they took a picture by the Siq (narrow passage) that leads to Petra.
She captioned the post: "Visited Jordan this week and there was so much to see and experience!

The star went to Jordan with her pal Gayle King (Instagram)"We visited the site where John the Baptist baptized Jesus, Petra and all its fascinations, camels, and the spot where the big boulder comes rolling out of Indiana Jones. So much history there in the “Rose City,” voted one of the 7 new wonders of the world.
"It takes 3 days to really see it all we only spent 3 hours. Put it on your must see list if you haven’t already!"
One snap saw Oprah pouting at the camera as she stood next to a sleepy camel. She rocked khaki trousers, a green scarf and a warm coat.
At one point, Gayle and Oprah kept warm in gorgeous brown coats (called a furwa) as they relaxed in the sunny desert.

The duo visited Jesus' baptism site (Instagram)Although many fans enjoyed the pictures, some complained about the fact she was riding a camel.
"Poor camels! Their backs are ruined because of these rides," one user said while another added: "I wish the camels weren’t so mistreated.
"Beasts of burden, often used in tourism, have it tough worldwide. Looks like a lovely trip."
Her trip comes after Oprah said she thinks Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should attend King Charles' Coronation.

Presenter Gayle, who is also a good friend of Harry and Meghan, asked the chat show legend: "Do you think they should go, do you think they should not go? Is it something you'd like to comment on? I'm listening."

Speaking on CBS Morning, Oprah replied: "I think they should do what they feel is best for them and for their family. That's what I think.
"That's what the bottom line comes down to. What do you feel like is the right thing for you?"
