EastEnders star Patsy revealed she had filmed her final scenes earlier this year and the BBC soap confirmed her stint as Emma would be a temporary one when she first arrived in Walford.
Speaking on The One Show earlier this week, Patsy opened up on her character's motives and said: "We're finding out that Emma is quite controlling and a bit of a trouble maker. She wants to come between Lola and Jay and cause trouble. She sees something that she doesn't quite like looking at and she makes it bigger than it is and she drives a wedge between them and it all unfolds.
"When we saw her before she was quite broken from her past and finding her daughter again but now she's back she's feisty and I've got to play some great scenes."
EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy shows off grey hair and says 'it doesn't matter'Reflecting on her EastEnders role, she added: "I had a great time and I miss them all. I'm so proud to have been on the show because it's a dream of mine."
