Jeremy Clarkson has unveiled a new beer trailer at his Diddly Squat farm despite the planning row with the local council and residents raging on.

The TV presenter has invested in a new beer trailer to serve customers his very own Hawkstone lager in an apparent way to bring in more revenue at the Oxfordshire site.

It comes after the former Top Gear host is challenging the council's decision to shut down a restaurant on the farm and not being granted planning permission to extend the car park.

Star of Clarkson's Farm, Kaleb Cooper showed off the new bar on Instagram, which is a grey converted horse trailer with pink roof.

It is unclear if Clarkson, 62, will need planning permission to set up the bar on his farm but generally it is not needed for temporary structures that are used for less than 28 days a year.

Diddly Squat farm has been branded a “menace” and a “danger” by angry locals at a recent planning meeting.

Clarkson has classed with residents multiple times since setting up his farm.

A hearing was held this week relating to Clarkson's appeal against the refusal by the council to grant planning permission for a car park extension.

The site, which sits between Chadlington and Chipping Norton, has upset some locals as they say tourists come to "show off their cars" and block roads.

"I don't think the people who come are particularly respectful," said one resident.

"They come in their cars with their souped-up engines - they are motorheads, they are not here to support our little farm shop.

"We have been disrupted by them in the two-and-a-half years since it's been open. It's ruining our area.

"There are farm shops all over the country that they could support instead of all converging here at the weekends.

"It's a total menace. It's a danger."

Florist at the farm Joanna Cecil came to its defence.

"People go to the shop because it sells local," she said.

"This is what Jeremy loves: he invests in the farm, he invests in local people.

"He is making a success of it for local people, for our children, and for our future."

The hearing comes as Jeremy is appealing against West Oxfordshire District Council's decision to deny him an extension to his car park.

The council's tourism manager had previously said it would help improve safety and prevent problems.

Clarkson is also challenging the council’s move to shut down his restaurant because he allegedly did not have planning permission when he opened it in July last year.

They ordered Jeremy to close the eatery along with anything selling food that would be consumed on the farm, and remove the picnic tables, chairs, dining tables, parasols and mobile toilets from the site.

The Who Wants to be a Millionaire host's planning representatives have appealed the decisions, claiming it is "excessive".

A final decision on the planning appeal is set to be made in the coming weeks.

The local council revealed that death threats had been made against two people who opposed Jeremy’s Diddly Squat farm expansions this week.

The threats came after Season 2 of Clarkson’s Farm aired on February 10, the council said.

Further tensions have meant Clarkson’s 16-year-old farm workers are wearing body cameras after receiving abuse from villagers.
