Andy Whyment is best known for his role on Coronation Street, having been on the show for more than 20 years.

The actor, 41, joined the ITV soap opera as Kirk Sutherland in 2000 and has remained among its cast throughout the two decades since the character arrived in Weatherfield.

And over the years, Andy has appeared on other TV shows, including having competed on Dancing on Ice and more recently I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!. He was runner-up on the latter.

Although he's a household name, viewers may not know that much about the actor's life away from the screen - though he provides fans on social media with an insight into it.

The family have enjoyed holidays over the years, including Andy and Nichola celebrating their anniversary in Crete last year. He wrote: "19 years together today for me and [Nichola]. Nice to spend it in the sun".
