Although the weather is making it seem like we’ve stepped back into mid-December, believe it or not, spring is around the corner - and Apple has just the thing to brighten up these dull days.

Earlier this week, the tech giant announced that a beautiful yellow colour will be joining the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus lineup from tomorrow - and it’s safe to say we’re pretty obsessed.

The new yellow colour for the iPhone 14 devices joins an already impressive line of five colours which are readily available to purchase including midnight, starlight, (PRODUCT)RED, blue and purple.

Now, it seems the new yellow colour won’t be available for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max devices anytime soon, however, there are plenty of incredible features on the two devices which it is available for.

Both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus boasts a durable Ceramic Shield front cover, an updated internal design for better-sustained performance and easier repairs - and best of all, the longest battery life of any iPhone ever.

On top of this, they feature a powerful dual-camera system for pro-level photos and videos, groundbreaking safety capabilities, including Emergency SOS via satellite and Crash Detection and a powerful A15 Bionic chip.

If you can’t wait to get your hands on the new yellow iPhone they’ll be available to pre-order tomorrow (Friday, March 10) here, while the general sale will be starting on Tuesday, March 15.

“People love their iPhone and rely on it every day for all that they do, and now there’s an exciting addition to the lineup with a new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing.

“The extraordinary battery life, lightweight design, pro-level camera and video features, groundbreaking safety capabilities like Emergency SOS via satellite, and all iOS 16 has to offer make iPhone 14 a great option for anyone in the market for a new iPhone.”

As for pricing, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are currently available in midnight, starlight, red, blue, and purple, and will be available in yellow in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities, starting at £849 (UK) and £949 (UK) respectively on Apple’s official website.

The iPhone isn’t the only new thing getting a colour upgrade, as Apple also announced four new colours for its range of silicone cases, for all four iPhone 14 models. These include; Canary Yellow, Olive, Sky and Iris, and will retail at £49 each.
