Arsenal 'keeper Ramsdale hailed for 'save of the season' in win over Bournemouth
Aaron Ramsdale has been hailed for making the 'save of the season' as Arsenal came from behind to secure a last-gasp win over Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
The Cherries took the lead inside the opening 10 seconds through Philip Billing who slotted home the second-fastest goal in Premier League history to give Gary O'Neill's side a dream start.
Although Arsenal responded well and dominated possession after going behind, they looked susceptible on the counter-attack and almost conceded a second on 19 minutes.
Bournemouth launched a fast break as Billing squared the ball across to Dango Outtara, who had the goal at his mercy, but Ramsdale somehow managed to squirm across his goal before making a superb stop.
It was a terrific chance for the Cherries to score a second - and Outtara could have also squared it to Dominic Solanke for an even easier opportunity. The ex-Chelsea and Liverpool striker was waiting on the edge of the six-yard box for a tap-in but Ramsdale managed to make the stop and palm it far away from danger.

Some Arsenal fans took to social media to praise Ramsdale for making that superb save. One said: "Ramsdale with Save of the season. Bailed us there big time."
Another added: "Massive save from Ramsdale can’t go unnoticed! Safe hands!" A third said: "Unbelievable save."

Meanwhile, a fifth said: "Ramsdale is a huge reason we got the 3 points today. That save in the first half was out of this world."
Arsenal continued to dominate the first-half despite Bournemouth's excellent chance, with Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka going close. However, Arteta's men were punished for not putting their opportunities away when Marcos Senesi doubled the visitors' advantage in the 57th minute.
The game was never going to be over there, though. Arsenal had too much quality not to score and they managed to pull one back moments later through Thomas Partey, before Ben White levelled with 20 minutes to go.

In his post-match interview, Arteta praised his side for their mentality to come from behind and extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points.
Arteta told BBC Sport: "I'm incredibly happy. It was just mad. Those feelings of happiness and joy. It was a really special way and it took until the last second to earn it. I am really proud of them [the players].
"They never gave up. There is nothing like sharing those great moments with your people. I'm so happy for him [Nelson]. It's just another game, another three points. To win three games in a week [ Leicester, Everton, Bournemouth] is very important. We want to stay there [at the top] for as long as possible. There are still a lot of games to play but that’s the beauty of it."
