The Do It Like A Dude star has filmed a documentary that will chronicle her return to music as she becomes a mother.

A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Jessie's determined not to let her pregnancy prevent her from relaunching her career.

"The documentary will see Jessie discuss everything from pregnancy, miscarriage, health problems, heartbreak and love life to her fall from public favour and planned comeback."

Jessie told fans she was expecting a boy with basketball player Chanan in January.

However just hours after revealing her pregnancy online, the singer admitted she couldn't help but think about "all the women and men still struggling with loss and infertility", due to the fact she was once told she would "never get pregnant" and have a baby.

The mum-to-be told her Instagram followers it felt "so strange to on this side" after previously experiencing pregnancy loss - explaining how she kept her news "quiet for so long" because she was struggling to process the fact she was pregnant.

Jessie announced she had suffered a miscarriage in November 2021 ahead of performing a gig in L.A, just one month after from splitting from boyfriend Max Pham after seven months of dating.

However, she's now delighted to be expecting, despite taking to Instagram admitting she was scared about becoming a mum.

The singer wrote last week: "Sat sobbing putting the pram together. Like sobbing loud. [laughing face emoji]. Still doesn't feel real. Happy, scared, can't believe it, excited af, what if I can't do it, he will be so small, I'm gonna love him so much tears..."

Jessie also revealed her unborn son 'moves like crazy' whenever she sings a song she's penned for him, which fans can pre-save ahead of its release.

She mused: "Since I wrote this song every time I play it or sing it he moves like crazy, so I think this song is the one. Pre save link in my bio. Oh yeah…I'm having a boy. And I promise I am wearing underwear."
