Arsenal predicted line-up as Mikel Arteta set to stick with new attacking trio
Arsenal meet Everton for the second time in four weeks, looking for revenge after the Toffees toppled them at Goodison Park with a 1-0 win that threatened to derail the Gunners' title charge.
It looks as if Mikel Arteta has managed to get things back on track for the league-leaders, but he is now well-versed in the kind of threat this Everton side possess under new boss Sean Dyche. This game has been marked on the calendar for a while from an Arsenal perspective, as it is their game in hand on title rivals Manchester City.
Should the Gunners win on Wednesday night, it will take Arsenal five points clear at the top of the Premier League. Anything less and it will be viewed as a huge opportunity missed with Pep Guardiola's side chomping at their heels.
With that in mind, Mirror Football has analysed how the Gunners could line-up for the visit of Everton.
Aaron Ramsdale is an ever-present between the sticks for Arsenal and that is almost certain to remain the case for this contest.
Chelsea complete record-breaking Enzo Fernandez transfer after deadline day rushIn front of him is expected to be the usual central defensive duo of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes after Arteta quashed any talk of a rift between the pair. Footage of the pair engaged in a particularly animated conversation surfaced after the full-time whistle for Saturday's 1-0 win away at Leicester.

Either side of that partnership is likely to be Ben White at right-back and Oleksandr Zinchenko on the opposite side of the pitch. The latter actually lost his cool with Neal Maupay during the last meeting between these sides and had to be pulled away by his manager at full-time.
Granit Xhaka will take up his usual role in the middle of the park, though who will line-up alongside him is difficult to predict. Jorginho has shone in the last few weeks while deputising for Thomas Partey, who was on the bench at the King Power on Saturday.
Partey's late introduction against the Foxes would suggest he is ready to start from the off and if the Ghanaian is fit, he tends to start.
Arteta likes to have three forward players operating in front of his midfield duo and there will be no surprises as to who that trio will consist of. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will take to the right and left flanks respectively with club captain Martin Odegaard operating through the middle.
Eddie Nketiah has been tasked with leading the line for Arsenal ever since Gabriel Jesus was forced to undergo knee surgery during the World Cup, but Saturday's victory was the first time Arteta opted for a different option. The Gunners boss deployed January signing Leandro Trossard in the false nine role to promising results and could look to do the same this time around.
