Sheffield's biggest party, Tramlines Festival 2023 is back with a bigger and better lineup than ever – featuring some of the biggest names in music.

Music lovers will once again descend on Hillsborough Park to enjoy the three-day event, featuring live music, comedy, pop-up stores and fairground rides.

The event sees around 40,000 flocks to Sheffield, South Yorks, with the festival providing a boost for local businesses in the Hillsborough area.

In recent days, bosses behind the event had teased the line-up by sending out mini bottles of Henderson's Relish with the name of an act on the bottle across the country.

The outstanding line-up includes some of the biggest names in music as well as local talent.

This year, Richard Ashcroft, The Courteeners, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott will headline the Sarah Nulty main stage between July 21 and 23.

The Courteeners return after four years away, just months after their debut album St Jude hit the top of the charts, 15 years after its original release.

Elsewhere, DMA's, Blossoms, Kaiser Chiefs and Sugababes will also take to the stage delivering some of their biggest hits as well as a surprise or two.

But Sheffield's own Reverend and The Makers will also be delivering a jaw-dropping set including teasers from their upcoming album and their famous records.

While Katy B returns to the festival following a five-year hiatus alongside Kate Nash, Red Rum Club and Pale Waves.

Taking to the comedy stage will be Omid Djalili, Jonathan Pie and Paul Smith alongside a string of big names.

Operations Director, Timm Cleasby who has fronted Tramlines since the first event said: "This year's lineup is a cracker with some awesome names and, as always, there’s more than just music with loads to do, see and get involved with.

"My personal must-sees this year are Kate Nash, Rachel Chinouriri, Rumbi Tauro, Sugababes, the funny Paul Smith, and Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott.

"To quote our much-missed friend Sarah, 'I Just want to have a massive party with all my friends', the turns are booked, the party's on and you're all invited – it can't come soon enough".

General Manager Matt Davies from Sheffield's Henderson's Relish struggled to contain his joy as the brand delivered a string of subtle clues, explaining: "The recipe for Henderson's Relish has been kept under lock and key for over 130 years.

"Normally, we're quite good with secrets, but we got a bit too excited about the line-up for this year's Tramlines, sorry about that."

The final batch of tickets for the legendary festival will drop at midday on Friday, February 3.
